To Whom It May Concern:
Relative to performance and skill set criteria, if a soldier fails to master a particular skill set, is the soldier required to repeat Basic Training until such is mastered, or is the soldier drummed out of service? If the soldier fails to master a skill set, is training repeated until the soldier has mastered it, or is there a limit after which the soldier is considered no longer fit for service?
My soldier is struggling with marksmanship, so I wonder what options exist for said soldier from this point forward. Just curious.
Thanking you for your time and attention, I am

If they do not meet graduation requirements they would be re-cycled through in a different BN. If this happens they do not get family/graduation day passes and would not participate on those days. Beyond that I couldn't say how that would work as far as being determined unfit for service.
Thanks, Rebecca
